Golf at Brocket Hall Golf Club

Experience 36 holes of true championship golf at Brocket Hall. The Melbourne and Palmerston courses both measure over 6,500 yards from the yellow tees. The Melbourne Course opened in 1992 and was designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark and The Palmerston was designed by Donald Steel.

The Palmerston Course at Brocket Hall

18 holes, 72 par, 7080 yards. Woodland.

This championship course was designed by Donald Steel and opened in 2000, making this one of the newer golf courses in the Hertfordshire area. This is a more challenging test, and makes for a very exciting round. The golf course winds its way through the estate framed by huge pines and beeches, making the fairways more narrow and more difficult to manoeuvre. The river doesn’t touch this course, but clever placement of bunkers has taken its place. One of the most memorable hole is the par four 12th, which requires good accuracy off the tee, with an awkward chalk face close to the green.
